Bathroom Assistance
Some of our campers require assistance when going to the bathroom.
Camp Simcha & Camp Simcha Special’s policy for assisting campers in the bathroom is to be strictly adhered to:
- Gloves must be used when assisting a camper in the bathroom.
- Only the designated counselor or rotator of a specific camper has permission to do a bathroom-assist. However if their counselor or rotator requests assistance you may and are asked to assist.
- For your own safety, when assisting a camper in the bathroom, the bathroom/stall door must remain unlocked.
Please remember that having someone perform a bathroom-assist is inherently uncomfortable for a child, no matter how comfortable they may appear.
Be respectful of the child as you assist them.
